Kentucky Route 422 is a short state highway in southeastern Edmonson County, Kentucky. It serves as a link between U.S. 31-W and KY 259, one of the main access roads serving the county.
KY 422 starts at a junction with US 31-W. It proceeds north through a mostly wooded area for 1.7 miles (2.7 km) before coming to a junction with KY 743 at that route's eastern terminus.
KY 422 then proceeds north for 1.2 miles (1.9 km) through an area dotted with rural residences before coming to its northern terminus at KY 259 in the Pig community.
